Pain is a big problem, afflicting more Americans that cancer, heart disease and diabetes combined.
Pain is called “the great equalizer.” Pain does not discriminate on the basis of race, class or education.
However, disparities in medical care mean the suffering from pain falls along lines of race, class, gender and age.
The Pain Stompers Foundation is reaching out to medically underserved communities through a series of radio interviews and library presentations. The campaign is funded through the generosity of donors and sponsors.
